Internet explorer 8 is so heavy in size and takes so long to load that I have to reformat my hdd to get a decent performance from my computer.
Now I use Google Chrome. It is light and load fast.
Yes, Chrome does not have all those lights and whistles. It does not have all the menu items you desperately want never to use like IE.
Internet explorer is good in only one way, you can use it to log in to the ftp sites without using any third party ftp software.
