Hello all MTs..
Y has this forum become so dull with so little responses to ads posted. Wondering where all of our MTs have gone.
I remember when this was in the earlier url - mtjobs.forumco.com
every single post used to attract so many replies. But nowadays, dunno what has happened. Everythign seems to be so dull.
Please come up wiht good suggestions to make this forum more interactive and useful for all of us. _________________ Arun Chakravarthy

Hi everybody and my dear mts/hbts/wahms:
I feel the forum is not getting enough replies coz some firms offerings work at very very damn less rates, which an mt does not wish to work at all and if at all any firm offers the works, its just like a shit kinda work with tough and too speed dictators where we gonna end up very less line counts and some times the client does not want pay coz the quality.
Why do not a firm understand that mt who wanna work from home wants to work on easy dictators where she/he can earn good line counts for the day where they assure you good quality in turn reduce the firm's net, pc, power, place maintainance cost.
I suggest an ideal firm will get their tough and tricky kinda dictaors done by their inhouse with quality checks as they pay more for their QA departments.
I wanna inform you my dear fellow mts and wahms not to work at very less costs and ask for easy payments if possible fornight payments, i.e., 15 days payments.
Here we wanna work for these rates. Do not expect anyone to work less then this.
Price rates:
Work for 1.20 paise for transcription with 94 plus % accuracy.
Work for 1.5 to 1.65 for user end quality or 98.5% accuracy.
Please do not argue or have a prick kinda discussion or scrapping over this matter if any mt freshers or any directors have no idea about the serious bussiness we are looking for.
I assume every one takes this in a positive way what we are looking for.
Have a great weeknd and cheers up with 2 beers my dear friends.

Dear Shirish,
Yes, well you have made a clear point here, but the fact even after giving direct client-ready files maximum, as a home-mt even though one ask for easy files so that we will get maximum productivity at good payment, the company is not at all ready to listen to give easy files. They are giving tough files most of the time and want a MT to spend maximum time on such files thereby loosing lot of time and productivity of the home-based MTs.
I do not know why and what is the real problem with the company people? Why are they not ready to give only easy-files? Our point is very clear here.
Give easy and clear files for life-time, get maximum earning as well the company is also earning lot of benefits by that, but can't really understand why are they not ready to do so? The company is actually earning a lot on their bills by way of power, no PC repair/damages, no checking in inhouse, and also getting maximum profits by doing so.
Regards,
Jay

Hi all
Not to forget, another crucial factor here is the credibility of firms offering work. Needless to say, we have seen and experienced so many fraudulents who do not pay after their work is done. There are many companies or people subletting work who seem satisfied when the work is being done by an HMT or a group of MTs, but when it comes to payment, all the problems start only then. They complain about quality issues, TAT issues, etc.
Besides this, there are companies who play trick in their agreements which are sometimes overlooked by us, e.g., the last company we worked for had a clause in the agreement that the payment will be done 45 days after invoice raising, which we misinterpreted as 45th day, i.e., 15th day after invoice raising. So, we had to work for them for 75 days and when the funds were transferred, we were shocked. The amount transferred was nearly half of the invoice raised. They had deducted lines of "macros" used, character counts, blah, blah, which should have been explained clearly at the start of work.
So, guys please read through IC (independent contractor) agreement carefully and work only small volumes (if you can) till you are satisfied with the company you are working for.
