Most of the dictionaries are valid even if outdated.
Only drug indexes like QLook are needed in latest versions. You can buy them from the manufacturers.
There is no free rides if you want the latest.

Dear Gspal and Logof:

I have a suggestion here. I do not know how much it will work, but since I am also in look out for the latest versions of stedmans and Quick look, I also after several searches to get the same, understood that the only way to get latest versions is to buy the same from Stedmans. It will be difficult for an individual to get it as it is costly for an individual Indian. Hence, i have a thought. Why can't we a pool of MTs, editors, share their part and buy it? If everybody can come together in this humble venture, each head cost will be really less. After each and everyone shares for buying the same, one can buy the latest one and can share the same with others. It will also be of a great help to the MT community as well. The latest version of Quicklook Electronic version from Stedmans is Quicklook 2008 which costs 40 dollars + shipping. In INR, it will come around to 2250 approximately.

The more people can join, that much less only one has to invest. Kindly let me know or you can mail me with your suggestions at npv_79@yahoo.co.in.

Thanks,

(Narayanan P.V.)

Dear Gspal:

I forgot to mention one more thing. Stedman's 6.0 electronic medical dictionary is in no way outdated. This being the latest from the Stedman itself is 7.0.

Thanks,

Narayanan
